Nottingham Forest and Leeds United clash this Sunday at the City Ground for round 11 of the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest have picked up 6 points and currently lie in 19th position. In their last fixture, Sean Dyche's team shared the spoils 0-0 with Sturm Graz (UEFA Europa League 2025/26).
Leeds United have won 11 points to date and are placed in 16th position. In their last encounter, Daniel Farke's team were beaten 3-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion (Premier League 2025/26).
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Leeds United winning 2-1.
Rich Ferraro (1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast): The words that no Forest fan wants to hear - this is a relegation six-pointer. However, most Reds fans will feel relatively confident due to the strength of the squad and the ability of the manager to draw good performances out of the team.
It's not all plain sailing; injuries have been mounting up, so the overall feeling after the Europa League match in Austria was "if you cannot win it, at least don't lose it". Despite the availability of Elliot Anderson, Igor Jesus, Omari Hutchinson and Taiwo Awoniyi after enforced absences, Forest will still be missing experienced heads such as Wood, Zinchenko and Aina on Sunday, and probably tricky wingers Bakwa and Hudson-Odoi.
Leeds will be up for the fight, but to go back to where I started, this will be a six-pointer and home advantage may well be just as important as ability.
Prediction: 1-0
Sam Bevan (AllDayLUFC): After another torrid away trip down to the south coast, Leeds find themselves preparing for another difficult game not at Elland Road.
Forests position in the table is slightly false in terms of their squad quality. Dyche has instantly had an impact in terms of performances and on the back of a good 2-2 draw against Manchester United, the reds will be looking at this fixture and licking their lips.
Becomes more enticing for them when you look at Daniel Farkes record away from home in the Premier League at both Leeds and Norwich. Makes for difficult reading.
Leeds need to start scoring away from home, alongside turning back around their defensive numbers. People hate it, but xG suggests were a better side than where were sat, despite a few worrying performances.
Sadly, have to go for a home win here. Cant see past Leeds away record and lack of goals.
With James and Gnonto returning though, it shifts part of the focus from Okafor, who has been our best attacking winger so far.
Prediction: 2-0
