PSG condemned violence between rival ultras after a pre-match clash at a motorway service area, hours before the club’s trip to Angers, which finished 3-0. The club said it condemns, in the strongest terms, any form of violence and will, if necessary, take appropriate sanctions to ensure the safety of all supporters.
The clash involved the Parias and Ultras Paris amid months of tension inside the CUP. It appeared to have been arranged and featured paintball. The Parias are said to have been behind it.
Around 500 ultras turned back a few hours before travelling, and 300 were eventually present at Raymond-Kopa.
The CUP wishes to exclude those involved following the fight.
One minor injury was noted on the Ultras Paris side, and police were waiting for them on their return to the Parc des Princes.
