PSG – Danilo hopes to face Marseille again

Danilo Pereira, former player of Paris Saint-Germain (2020-2024) among others, answered questions from the media outlet Onze Mondial. The 34-year-old defender/midfielder from Portugal and Al-Ittihad was invited to talk about a match he would like to replay. He chose the Classico against Olympique de Marseille, with a special memory.

“I would like to replay a Classic against OM. It's always special, it's an incredible atmosphere. Matches like that bring a lot of emotions and sensations. The one that marked me the most and that I would like to relive is our 2-0 victory with ten against eleven (at the Vélodrome, on March 31, 2024). (Lucas) Beraldo was sent off in the first half. It was difficult to play under those conditions, but we did the job.”

It's appreciable to see a player keep such a memory at PSG. He enjoyed playing against the rival, with everything that entails. It shows that he understood the importance of such a match, with maximum effort required and always aiming for a victory. Which was particularly sweet being 10 against 11 at the Vélodrome, and Danilo does not forget it. We trust him to remain a Parisian supporter in the coming years.
