Liverpool, Manchester United and PSG are monitoring Christopher Nkunku’s situation at Chelsea, where the French forward has struggled to establish himself. PSG looked into bringing him back as early as January, while Liverpool are now considering a summer move.
While PSG ultimately decided against making a formal offer, Liverpool are keeping a close watch as Nkunku’s future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain.
Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and fierce competition for places have limited his impact. His long-term role at the club is still unclear.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG explored a potential deal before backing off. Bayern Munich also passed on a January move, though Sport Bild’s Christian Falk has suggested they could revisit their interest later this year.

According to The Sun, six teams are in the race to sign Nkunku, who’s reportedly looking to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after struggling for consistent minutes. Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United are among the clubs showing interest, along with European sides like PSG and Atlético Madrid.
Foot Mercato recently reported that Christopher Nkunku has caught Liverpool’s attention, with early talks already taking place. The Premier League club is aiming to bolster its attack and is especially focused on adding versatile players—an area where Nkunku fits the bill.
Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on the situation, particularly with changes expected up front this summer. A number of other clubs are monitoring Nkunku as well, but one major factor for the Chelsea forward is playing in the Champions League—an opportunity Bayern Munich can provide. The German giants are still weighing up a potential move for the former RB Leipzig star.
Nkunku was already a talking point during the winter transfer window and seems poised to be one again. If Bayern lose Leroy Sané, things could heat up quickly in the coming weeks.
