PSG to rest trio with Liverpool tie coming up | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain have a place in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France to secure as they travel to face Stade Briochin on Wednesday night, however, Luis Enrique is already looking ahead.

March will be a crucial month for PSG, who still have big ambitions in the UEFA Champions League. With a 13-point lead over Olympique de Marseille, the Ligue 1 title is all but wrapped up, whilst they are also strong favourites to progress in the Coupe de France. Stade Brestois, whom Les Parisiens beat 10-0 on aggregate in their Champions League play-off, are the highest-ranked side left in the competition and so Luis Enrique will be confident of adding yet more silverware.

However, whilst securing safe passage to the semi-finals is important for PSG, the club will nonetheless rest three players this evening. As per RMC Sport, Vitinha, Lee Kang-in and Gianluigi Donarumma will all be rested this evening. PSG face Lille OSC at the weekend before encountering Liverpool in the Champions League next week.
