PSG v Atalanta: Great news for PSG, one player already back

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a 24-year-old forward for Paris Saint-Germain, played only 29 minutes in the match against Lens this Sunday (4th day of Ligue 1) despite being a starter. This was due to a nasty hit on the calf. At least, according to Foot Mercato, the tests showed nothing more serious, and he should be ready to face Atalanta this Wednesday (1st day of the Champions League).

“PSG might finally count on Kvaratskhelia: the initial tests reveal a minor injury, and he could be fit in time. It remains to be seen if Luis Enrique will take the risk.”

We can only hope that this excellent news will be confirmed. At least, Kvaratskhelia should not be out for long. This was the most likely scenario when he left the field, but there is always a concern about an unpleasant surprise. Now, we hope the Georgian will be in top form for the Champions League. Nothing is certain, given the little rest available.
