PSG/Arsenal – A major absence is looming!

Arsenal had a hard time beating West Ham this weekend, with at least the Premier League title seeming to draw closer. But there is also bad news ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on May 30. Ben White (28-year-old center-back/right-back) went off injured, while Ricardo Calafiori (23-year-old right-back) was rested because of pain. This is what coach Mikel Arteta told the press.

“Calafiori was injured, and Ben White’s knee injury is not reassuring at all,” remarks relayed by Le Parisien.

This could be a major blow for Arsenal, with one less defensive weapon against PSG. It would be even more worrying if Calafiori does not return quickly. Nothing is certain yet. But we know that the final league matches carry risks as the final approaches. We are keeping our fingers crossed that there will be no bad surprises ahead of this major showdown.
