Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Rayan Cherki is set to be a sought-after player in the upcoming summer transfer window. The 21-year-old has had an impressive season, with eight goals and 18 assists, drawing interest from top clubs across Europe.
Manchester United is one of the Premier League teams keeping an eye on Cherki, according to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United are also reportedly monitoring the Lyon playmaker.
The interest in Cherki extends beyond England. Bayern Munich and PSG have entered the race as well, both clubs impressed by his recent performances and considering summer bids.
Chelsea, once seen as frontrunners for his signature, have eased off their pursuit after recent additions like Cole Palmer, Kendry Paez, and Estevao. However, the London club still holds Cherki in high regard and hasn’t ruled out a potential future move.

GIVE ME SPORT reported Thursday that Cherki is keen on joining Liverpool this summer. However, doubts remain about whether manager Arne Slot will grant the winger’s request. The Dutch tactician focuses on making strict personality assessments and prioritizing specific traits in his transfer decisions.
The report also notes that Liverpool and Arsenal are the most attractive options in the Premier League for Cherki, who has been productive in the attacking third this season. His representatives have been reaching out to various clubs to gauge their interest before the end of the season.
Meanwhile, The Mirror previously reported that Manchester United are currently leading the race to sign Cherki. The 20-year-old has caught the interest of multiple clubs, with United reportedly leading the race.
Furthermore, the report states Cherki would cost around £20 million, with United seeing him as a boost to their attack.
