Whilst Paris Saint-Germain would seemingly be happy to part ways with Milan Škriniar (29), the Slovakia international is not as keen on leaving the Ligue 1 side.

Škriniar joined PSG last summer on a free transfer from Inter Milan. However, his debut campaign at the Parc des Princes was a mixed bag. He was largely first choice until January, however, an injury in the Trophée des Champions derailed his season. Between January and May, he struggled for consistency and form and flitted in and out of the team under Luis Enrique.

Les Parisiens are open to selling Škriniar just one year after he joined the club. Foot Mercato understands that the Slovakia captain has even been offered to several clubs in Turkey (Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe) as they look to get him off their books.

However, Škriniar’s stance on a move has been clear. Of course, I want to stay at PSG. I still have four years on my contract,” he told L’Équipe upon the conclusion of the Ligue 1 season. He has now reiterated that stance in the wake of Slovakia’s elimination from Euro 2024 at the hands of England.

“Yes, I’m staying [at PSG],” he said during his post-match press duties. Ultimately, however, the decision is not entirely his to make.
