Pulgar reaches 11 Flamengo games missed through cards after Bragantino red | OneFootball

Erick Pulgar's red card in Flamengo's 3-0 defeat at Red Bull Bragantino will rule him out again, his 11th match missed for disciplinary reasons with the club.

The Chilean was dismissed for punching a Bragantino player in the back of the neck with the score at 2-0 on Thursday. According to Coluna Do Fla, he will miss the next Brasileirão match through suspension.

His prior one-match bans for yellow-card accumulation came in the Brasileirão in July, October and November 2023, in August 2024, in October and November 2025, and in March 2026, as well as in the Cariocão and the Copa do Brasil in 2024.

It is his second red card for Flamengo. He avoided expulsion in the 2025 Libertadores final despite kicking Palmeiras defender Bruno Fuchs with play stopped, receiving only a yellow.

Flamengo host Santos at the Maracanã in the 10th round on Sunday, with kick-off at 17:30 Brasília time.
