Claudio Ranieri has began working in his role as Roma’s senior executive advisor.
The veteran technician retired from coaching at the end of the season and will be now closely working with Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini.

In fact, Ranieri played a key role in yesterday’s meeting that involved Mile Svilar and the player’s entourage.
As reported by La Repubblica, Ranieri attended the meeting centered around Svilar’s contract renewal.
After encountering some difficulties in their talks with the player’s agents, Roma entrusted Ranieri with mediating the meeting.
During the meeting, Ranieri and the club presented Svilar with a new offer (around 2.5 million euros plus bonuses) which the goalkeeper will now take time to consider.
