Carlo Ancelotti is monitoring European form and Brazil's final pre-World Cup camp is expected to feature new faces.
According to Globo.com, Bournemouth forward Rayan headlines the preliminary list for friendlies against France and Croatia in the United States. Ancelotti also wants close looks at Igor Thiago and Endrick before choosing Brazil's number nine. Igor Jesus is also included.
CBF notified clubs last Friday, and the 26-man squad for these games will be named next Monday in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil play France on 26 in Boston and Croatia on 31 in Orlando.
Vasco graduate Rayan has two goals and one assist in six Premier League matches. It is his first call under Ancelotti, who needs cover with Rodrygo ruled out of the World Cup by a knee injury.
Igor Thiago has 19 goals for Brentford this season, 18 in the Premier League, behind only Haaland's 22. Ancelotti wants to assess him given Richarlison's 2026 return of one goal. Endrick moved from Real Madrid to Lyon with Ancelotti's approval, has 10 games and eight goal involvements, and staff remain in contact. His chances of making the final list are enormous.
At the back, Éder Militão is injured and Alexsandro Ribeiro has fitness issues, so Léo Pereira and Bremer are on the pre-list. Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhães are secure, and the expectation is for five defensive selections. Brazil assemble in Orlando on 23, and the final World Cup squad is due on 19 May.
