RB Leipzig interested in a move for Sevilla youngster | OneFootball

RB Leipzig have had a rapid yet controversial rise through the German Football system. The club are now looking to continue their push for Bundesliga success by signing one of Sevilla’s best young stars.

As per Cadena SER, the German side are interested in making a move for Sevilla’s versatile young star Juanlu Sánchez, who has been a key member of García Pimienta’s squad this season.

Talks have already commenced between the two parties, with Leipzig interested in a loan for the young star with an option to buy at the other end.

There is still nothing regarding any potential fees for the move, but the 21-year-old has a value of around €12 million as per TransferMarkt, so a fee could be in this region should any move be made permanent.

Juanlu is getting plenty of playing time at Sevilla, so any desire for a move would either be down to financial reasons or the desire for a new and fresh challenge. Sevilla’s financial troubles could also be a big factor in talks.
