RB Leipzig have extended the contracts of Péter Gulácsi, Maarten Vandevoordt and Leopold Zingerle, securing their goalkeeping department for the coming seasons.
The club said in a statement that Gulácsi has signed a one-year extension, Vandevoordt is now contracted until 2030, and Zingerle until 2028. Managing director for sport Marcel Schäfer praised the depth and described the trio as among the Bundesliga’s strongest, underlining Gulácsi’s reliability, Vandevoordt’s near-200 professional outings and Zingerle’s standards in training and the dressing room. He added they are happy to go into next season with all three and have full faith in the set-up on and off the pitch.
Gulácsi, 35, will spend a 12th year in Saxony after joining from RB Salzburg in 2015. He has made 360 competitive appearances and lifted the DFB Pokal with Die Roten Bullen in 2022 and 2023.
Vandevoordt has already featured for Leipzig.
Zingerle provides competition and plays an important role in the dressing room within a settled group.
