Just minutes after taking the lead, RBL were able to double their advantage. Xaver Schlager was involved once again, forcing Toulouse goalkeeper Restes to push his powerful shot out for a corner. The Austrian then acrobatically smashed in Antonio Nusa's corner to make it 2-0.
RB Leipzig continued to exert their dominance over the match, as Chad Bitshiabu rose highest to head in their third of the afternoon.
Openda's shot from the edge of the box is blocked, but it falls perfectly for Johan Bakayoko. Our new signing places a precise shot into the back of the net, netting his maiden goal for the club.
Ridle Baku wins possession inside RBL's half before driving forward towards Toulouse's goal. Xavi then lays it off for Lois Openda, who places a shot in off the left post to complete his brace.
Yan Diomande netted RBL's sixth goal of the afternoon. The winger beat two defenders on the left side, before finishing from a tight angle.
David Raum won the ball down by the left corner flag before cutting it back to Yan Diomande. The winger was able to break past the defence once again, before setting up Ezechiel Banzuzi. The Dutchman slotted home from 13 metres out to net his first goal for RBL!
