Real Madrid will lock horns with Real Oviedo on Sunday night in their second La Liga fixture of the 2025/26 season.
With no fresh injury or fitness concerns, Xabi Alonso will go into the game without the services of four players – Jude Bellingham, Endrick, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga.
But, there is good news on the horizon as Mundo Deportivo reports that Camavinga is the closest to returning of the four injured Real Madrid players.
In fact, the 22-year-old French midfielder could be back as early as next week, which will come as a boost for Alonso & co.

Camavinga endured a difficult 2024/25 campaign, riddled with injuries. The midfielder ended up missing more than 30 games for club and country owing to four different physical problems.
Having recovered over the summer, the youngster was looking to start afresh under Alonso before suffering an ankle sprain earlier this month, before the friendly against WSG Tirol.
It led to Camavinga missing the season-opener against CA Osasuna on Tuesday while he did not train with the team today either. As such, he will not be ready for the trip to Oviedo on Sunday.
But, the hope is that the young midfield ace, who is on the radars of Manchester United, could be back next week.
As for the other injured players, Mendy and Endrick are expected to make their returns in September, whereas Jude Bellingham’s comeback is likely to take place in October.
