Real Madrid avoided a Copa del Rey quarter-final scare with a late 3-2 win at Leganés.
Scorers: Cruz (PEN) 39'; 59'; Modrić 18', Endrick 25', García 90+3'
Luka Modrić put the visitors ahead early in the first half by latching onto Rodrygo's pass to the edge of the penalty area before drilling the ball home.
Los Blancos extended their lead just a matter of minutes later through Endrick pouncing on a loose ball in the box for his fifth goal of the campaign to date.
Carlo Ancelotti's side saw that advantage cut in half by the interval after Leganés were awarded a penalty which Juan Cruz comfortably dispatched.
The hosts drew level right before the hour mark with Cruz again involved with a shot which took a deflection to leave the reigning LaLiga champions facing a fraught end.
But Gonzalo García spared their blushes deep into second half added time by meeting Brahim Díaz's cross with a pinpoint header to snatch victory.
