Real Madrid boss Mourinho makes Endrick future call | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has made up his mind when it comes to the immediate future of youngster Endrick with the club. The Portuguese’s wish? That his up-and-coming goalscorer stays put for the season ahead.

Endrick has of course seen his future emerge as a central talking point in the media chatter surrounding Real Madrid across the summer to date.

Despite shining during a loan stint in France with Lyon last season, speculation has continued to point towards another loan exit for the Brazilian international over the weeks ahead.

Such chatter then reached new heights last week, upon Los Blancos announcing the signing of another young centre-forward, in the form of Levante’s Carlos Espí.

Throughout these rumours, though, Endrick has for his part remained determined to stay put, to fight for his place in new manager José Mourinho’s squad for the duration of the 2026/27 campaign.

And if the latest word stemming from Spain on Tuesday is anything to go by, then the 20-year-old looks set to have his wish granted.

As per a report from Real Madrid insider Sergio Valentín:

‘Mourinho doesn’t see Endrick as spare. Mourinho greatly values his effort. Endrick, willing to convince the coach to earn a spot. Real Madrid turns down proposals from Italy and only a major offer would change the outlook.’
