After Real Madrid’s victory over Oviedo (3-0), Dani Ceballos set social media ablaze with a post that’s already sparking plenty of speculation and debate.

Coming on in the 87th minute—just as he did on the opening day, when he was also limited to only a few minutes—the Spanish midfielder posted a cryptic message: “Last dance.” Those words carry weight, hinting at a possible departure. The rumors gained further traction as Ceballos recently liked a post linking him with a return to Real Betis.

The Andalusian club has already made its move this summer, but their €5 million offer was deemed insufficient by Madrid, who are holding out for between €15 and €20 million. At 29, the Spanish international is seeking regular playing time with the World Cup on the horizon. Marseille are also exploring the possibility of signing him.
