According to an update shared by MARCA, Real Madrid have no intention of selling Nico Paz once he returns to the club.
On the contrary, the internal view is that the Argentine midfielder represents a key part of the next generation of midfield and is being brought back to stay and not to generate more profit.
Far from the spotlight of the Santiago Bernabeu, Nico has grown significantly during his time away from Madrid.
Carrying responsibility on his shoulders and playing week in, week out, he has evolved from a promising talent developed at La Fabrica into a player who is now making a genuine impact in European football.
His development has been steady rather than explosive, but that consistency is exactly what Madrid value most.
For some time now, it has been understood that Real Madrid would activate their buy-back clause. What followed, however, was inevitable debate.

With competition in midfield already intense, many questioned how the club would fit another high-potential player into an already crowded department.
Some even speculated that Madrid’s plan was purely financial – to bring him back only to sell him on for a major profit in the summer.
MARCA has firmly dismissed that idea. The report explains that two seasons in Italy have refined Nico into a far more complete footballer and the final cost of his return will be €9 million.
On the other hand, his dramatic rise has not gone unnoticed. Several clubs from Serie A and the Premier League are said to be ready to submit offers.
Yet Real Madrid’s stance is clear and non-negotiable – Nico is not returning to generate cash, nor to be used as a bargaining chip in future deals.
