It is increasingly likely that Real Madrid may go after a new manager next season, as they look to kickstart a new era and sack Alvaro Arbeloa.
Real Madrid have been linked with a plethora of coaches in recent weeks, including former manager Jose Mourinho and ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.
However, the one name that tops the list is Jurgen Klopp, who has been out of coaching roles since leaving Liverpool a few years ago.
According to journalist Joaquin Maroto (h/t Ramon Alvarez de Mon), Real Madrid’s preferred choice for the coaching role next season is Klopp.
The club are determined to get their hands on the German tactician, who is currently serving an executive role for the Red Bull franchise. He is a key executive for all of Red Bull’s football teams across the globe.

There are murmurs that Klopp would like to return to coaching soon, with Real Madrid more than prepared to hand him the reins. However, acquiring the services of Klopp won’t be easy.
While, for one, the German hasn’t even agreed to any Real Madrid offer, there is also a question of certain demands and control that Klopp would want in order to coach Los Blancos.
Recent reports suggest Klopp wants an initial investment of at least €170 million on three players, if he is to take over this disjointed Real Madrid team.
Some of the top players in his shortlist includes Nico Schlotterbeck, Rodri and Juventus’ attacking sensation Kenan Yildiz.
