At least some good news arrived for the Merengues this Thursday. After staying indoors on Tuesday and missing Real Madrid’s trip to Albacete on Wednesday night, Kylian Mbappé made his return to full team training this Thursday.

The French striker was back on the Valdebebas pitch, training with a smaller group, while the starters from the Copa del Rey match (a 3-2 defeat) focused on recovery work. This return is a welcome boost for Alvaro Arbeloa, the new Casa Blanca manager following Xabi Alonso’s departure.
