Jamal Musiala finds himself at a crucial moment in his career. His contract with Bayern Munich expires in June 2026, and the Bavarians want to renew it as soon as possible, given his potential and the major clubs pursuing his signature, including Real Madrid.
In fact, as reported earlier this week, the Bundesliga heavyweights are set to table a lucrative contract offer which would make the young sensation one of the highest earners at the club.
Bayern Munich are sparing no efforts to convince Musiala to sign a renewal especially with clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City keeping a close watch on the situation.
However, Musiala does not want to rush into any decision and told RND (h/t SPORT) that there could be more clarity on the situation in January.

“At the moment I am focused on Bayern and Germany. I know many people are following my situation, but I am trying to put as little pressure as possible on myself,” he said.
“What is important for me is to stay fit and perform at my best until I have some time to relax. Then I will have time to think everything through. I believe we will know more during the winter break,” the German international added.
Musiala also touched upon his good relationship with Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany, which might be a factor in his decision about the renewal.
“I talk a lot with him. It is important. We also looked at how to improve in various aspects such as getting into the box, finishing, scoring simple goals, getting on the end of headers… But none of that has had a negative impact on my way of playing,” he said.
