While Kylian Mbappé is trying to find a solution for his knee injury, Luis Figo has sent him a warning message.

Kylian Mbappé has been struggling with persistent pain in his left knee since last December. The Frenchman gritted his teeth and played through the pain for a long time before finally heading to the treatment room at the end of February. Real Madrid legend Luis Figo has weighed in on the French international's situation.

"Mbappé's injury really depends on how the player feels. You have to determine whether he can take the risk or not, and if that risk could have more serious consequences. Everything must be decided together with the medical team and the coach, because every situation is different. In my case, sometimes I forced it and it didn't go very well. But I did it because I wanted to be out on the pitch and help the team and my teammates. Sometimes you make those sacrifices without knowing what could happen. And then, you pay the price," the Portuguese legend revealed during a Betfair event.
