Real Madrid move ahead of PSG in the €120m race to sign Yan Diomandé | OneFootball

Real Madrid have moved ahead of PSG in the race to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé (19), according to a report from Foot Mercato. Los Merengues are reportedly in direct club-to-club talks with the Bundesliga side to reach aa whopping €120m agreement to sign the in-demand Ivory Coast international.

Diomandé initially agreed to join PSG, but the back-to-back Champions League winners are unwilling to overpay and match Real Madrid’s offer. Diomandé has already agreed to join Real Madrid. The club’s newly-appointed head coach, José Mourinho, requested the signing of a pacy winger.

Foot Mercato understands that Real Madrid used their reported interest in Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise to discreetly make decisive steps to sign Diomandé. Real Madrid are yet to reach an agreement on personal terms with the Leipzig winger, but it should not be an issue.
