Real Madrid predicted XI v Marseille: Ferland Mendy out, Eduardo Camavinga included in squad | OneFootball

Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham have surprisingly been included in Real Madrid’s matchday squad to face Olympique de Marseille in their UEFA Champions League opener.

Camavinga and Bellingham have not featured since the end of April. The pair have been recovering from injuries, however, it was not thought that they would be fit to face Marseille. Neither player is expected to start against Les Phocéens, and there is no guarantee that any of them will come off the bench, however, it is a definite boost for Xabi Alonso, who now has more options at his disposal.

There are, however, absences for Real Madrid. Ferland Mendy is out of the encounter, as is Antonio Rudiger, who is expected to spend a more prolonged period on the sidelines, and centre-forward Endrick.
