According to a report from SPORT, it has come to light that Real Madrid are seriously considering the possibility of selling Vinicius Jr. this summer if his contract renewal talks don’t progress soon.
The Brazilian star has two years left on his current deal, but the club is aware that his market value could drop significantly next year if no agreement is reached.
The situation has forced Real Madrid into a difficult position. The club had originally planned to renew Vinicius’s contract smoothly, but negotiations have hit a wall.
His agents are asking for a pay rise that would put him on par with Kylian Mbappe, something the club is unwilling to do, as it would disrupt their carefully managed wage structure.
At the same time, the uncertainty surrounding Rodrygo’s future adds another layer of complexity.
Both Brazilian forwards have struggled to meet expectations this past season, and with Mbappe’s arrival, Real Madrid are more open than ever to letting go of one of them.

According to reports, Real Madrid are weighing up whether to cash in on Vinicius or Rodrygo to help offset their huge summer spending.
The club has made major investments to strengthen the squad, and parting ways with one of the two Brazilian forwards could help balance the books.
If Vinicius ends up leaving, Rodrygo would naturally recover his position in the team. It is worth noting that Rodrygo has already signed a contract extension, which ties him to the club for one more year than Vinicius.
The transfer window is still open, and Madrid are in no rush to make a decision. However, they are keeping the door open for a potential sale.
For Rodrygo, the asking price is set at €100 million, and if Vinicius is also put on the market, the club expects offers from big-spending clubs, particularly from Saudi Arabia.
