Dani Ceballos became an unwanted antagonist for Real Madrid on Saturday as he made the costly error that allowed Osasuna to score the winning goal.
Ceballos was devastated after the game and publicly apologised to the fans while taking accountability for the error.
However, that will do very little to pacify Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who is angry at the club’s recent defeat.
According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are ready to part ways with Ceballos in the coming summer, with Perez not keen on having the player in the team.
The Spanish giants are ready to offload the Spanish midfielder for a fee of just €10 million, which is quite reasonable considering his contract expires in 2027.

The report adds that Ceballos’ situation at Real Madrid is unsalvageable. He is unhappy with his lack of game time, while his attitude is not popular within the dressing room.
The former Arsenal star was close to joining Marseille last summer, but the move broke down at the last minute.
Real Madrid have made Ceballos available in the market and have informed the player that he is not a part of their plans for next season.
President Perez is willing to facilitate his exit to any interested party in the coming summer. The report goes on to add that if there was any hope about his future at Madrid, it no longer exists after the costly error vs Osasuna.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Ceballos at the end of the season, as he looks to leave Real Madrid and kickstart a new chapter in his career.
