Real Madrid star has legally trademarked his goal celebration | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has registered his goal celebration as a legal trademark.

That’s according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, who points towards Brahim Díaz as the player in question.

Moroccan international Brahim has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the Spanish media headlines over the last 24 hours.

This comes after the former AC Milan man conjured up a moment of magic, to notch the decisive goal in the first leg of the Champions League Last-16 tie between Real and Atlético Madrid.

After seeing his fine strike ripple the Atlético net, Brahim unveiled his well-recognised individual celebration, in which the versatile attacker makes a shrugging motion towards the crowd.

And as alluded to above, as much can now be considered an official trademark pose.

As revealed by Blancos insider Mario Cortegana:

‘He recently registered the celebration legally as his trademark’, a clever move on the part of Brahim and his representatives alike.
