Earlier today, Real Madrid confirmed that new signing Trent Alexander-Arnold has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Trent was named in the starting lineup against Marseille on Tuesday night but had to be taken off just a few minutes into the game due to the injury.
The England international, who arrived from Liverpool in the summer, is expected to be out of action for a period of six to eight weeks, dealing a big blow to Los Blancos.
Following the confirmation of the setback, Trent took to social media to post a message for the fans in which he vowed to come back soon and stronger than before.

“Will be back as soon as possible. Stronger than before. See you soon Madridistas,” the 26-year-old right-back wrote.
Real Madrid signed Trent from Liverpool in June earlier this year, paying a fee of around €10 million, even though they could have got him for free a month later when his contract would have expired.
Since arriving, the England international has not had the smoothest start at Real Madrid, with performances not at the level expected.
The competition from Dani Carvajal has only served to add on the pressure on the 26-year-old right-back. Now, the injury blow has put him out of action for close to two months.
