The Blancos star in question? Jude Bellingham.

Barcelona are primed to return to action in short order, when Hansi Flick’s troops lock horns with English outfit Birmingham City in a friendly clash.

This comes as part of the Blaugrana’s ongoing preparations for the defence of their La Liga title in 2026/27.

And as alluded to above, watching on from the crowd on Friday evening will be one player nothing short of desperate to wrestle Spanish football dominance away from Flick and co.

As per a report from Barca insider Víctor Navarro:

‘Jude Bellingham will be watching the Birmingham-Barça game today from a private box.’

Midfielder Bellingham for his part spent the early years of his career making a name for himself as one of world football’s standout young talents on the books of Birmingham City.

The 23-year-old boasts icon status as St. Andrew’s, having seen his Blues jersey retired by the club upon departing at just 17 years of age.
