Vinicius Jr. has been growing frustrated at Real Madrid in recent weeks, with the Brazilian international understood to be dissatisfied with how things are going under Xabi Alonso.
Since the start of the new season, the 24-year-old, once an ever-present for Real Madrid, has not lasted 90 minutes in a single game, and has even been dropped out of the starting XI twice.
Frustrations boiled over this past weekend when Vinicius reacted angrily after Alonso informed him of his substitution during the game against Espanyol.
Amidst all this, Vinicius’ agent, Frederico Pena, was seen at Real Madrid’s facilities today, where he is understood to have met the club officials, according to El Chiringuito TV.
It must be remembered that the club have been locked in contract negotiations with the Brazilian and his camp for a while now without reaching a breakthrough.

An agreement was understood to be close during their last meeting soon after the FIFA Club World Cup, but the talks ended up breaking down completely.
Now, with Vinicius unhappy with his current situation, a fresh meeting has taken place between his agent and the club.
Earlier today, the same outlet reported that if things do not improve, Vinicius was not ruling out the possibility of leaving Real Madrid in January.
While such a scenario seems highly improbable, it remains to be seen how things evolve and what will be the outcome of the latest meeting between the two parties.
