Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has this evening spoken out on the fresh injury concerns surrounding teammate Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham and Vinícius, of course, both played their part on Wednesday, as Real Madrid secured yet another piece of silverware.
After making the trip to Qatar for the finale of the Intercontinental Cup final, Los Blancos locked horns with Mexican heavyweights Pachuca.
When all was said and done in Lusail, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops emerged comfortable victors, owing to goals on the part of all of Kylian Mbappé, Rodrygo, and Vinícius Jr.
On an otherwise positive evening for Real Madrid, however, one source of concern was also forthcoming, on the injury front.
This comes with the aforementioned Jude Bellingham having been spotted limping post-match.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, the subject of his teammate’s wellbeing was therefore put to Vinícius Jr.
And the Brazilian made use of the opportunity to quell any fears surrounding Bellingham’s fitness, explaining:
“Jude Bellingham injury? I don’t think it’s serious.”
