With just over a week remaining before the January transfer window opens, Real Madrid have already confirmed the loan deal of Endrick.
The Brazilian international is set to join Olympique Lyon on a short-term loan deal, which is expected to be Real Madrid’s only bit of business in this January transfer window.
However, recently, there has been speculation surrounding the future of Franco Mastantuono, possibly even a January loan move for the Argentine international, who has struggled since returning from injury.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has weighed in on Franco Mastantuono’s future, effectively rubbishing talks of a potential loan exit in January.
Romano claims that the prospects of the youngster’s loan move in January are virtually impossible.

He adds that Mastantuono is still recovering from injury and enjoys the complete faith of both the club and the manager.
This will serve as a relief for many who had expected Mastantuono to make an impact, especially after a promising start to life at the Bernabeu.
Since picking up an injury earlier in the campaign, the youngster has struggled with his fitness, which has reflected directly on his participation in the first team.
Indeed, Mastantuono has featured in just one minute of league action since returning to contention at the start of this month. That’s one minute played in five league matches.
Despite this, there have been suggestions that Real Madrid may look to replicate the Nico Paz method for Mastantuono by selling him to a club like Como while retaining a cheaper buyback clause that lets them have full control of the player’s future.
