CNBC has released its Official Global Soccer Valuations for 2025, detailing how some of the biggest football clubs in the world are ranked in terms of valuation.
The list has world’s top 25 most valuable clubs, ranked on various metrics, including revenue generation and brand value, among other things.
Quite unsurprisingly, leading the prestigious list is none other than Real Madrid. With an eye-watering valuation of $6.7 billion, Los Blancos remain well ahead of their closest competitors.
Indeed, Real Madrid’s valuation stands above the rest, comfortably ahead of rivals like Manchester United ($6 billion), Barcelona ($5.6 billion), and Manchester City ($5.2 billion).
The numbers back up Real Madrid’s place at the summit. The club posted a record revenue of $1.13 billion during the 2023-24 season.

A major driver behind this was the long-awaited completion of the Santiago Bernabeu renovations, which helped match-day revenue soar to $268 million, which is double the previous year’s figures.
Furthermore, Real Madrid’s triumphant run to their 15th UEFA Champions League title added a massive $174 million to their earnings, according per club’s latest annual report.
All of these factors helped Real Madrid see their income increase 26% from the 2022/23 season.
Real Madrid’s arch-rivals Barcelona are ranked third in the list, with a valuation of $5.6 million. However, the club’s revenue could soar in the near future, once the Spotify Camp Nou project is completed by next season.
The third biggest team in Spain, Atletico Madrid, stand 12th in the list, behind the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and even Tottenham Hotspur.
