Real Madrid started the 2025/26 La Liga season with everything.

With the 4-1 win over Levante this Tuesday (23rd), they now have six wins in six games — a feat the club has only achieved five other times in the history of the competition.

The previous campaigns with this perfect start were in 1958/59, 1961/62, 1968/69, 1987/88, and, more recently, in 2022/23.

From these campaigns, the Merengues were champions in 61/62, 68/69, and 87/88. In the other two seasons, their rival Barcelona ended up lifting the trophy.

Xabi Alonso's team is showing strength and consistency both in attack and defense. It's still early, but history shows that Real Madrid seems to be a strong contender for the title.
