Real Madrid welcomed Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga back to the squad list for their upcoming game against Olympique de Marseille in the UEFA Champions League.

Both players had not played a single game so far this season but are back for the team’s Champions League opener tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, Xabi Alonso continues to be without three other players in Endrick, Ferland Mendy, and Antonio Rudiger. Of the three, though, the young forward’s return is getting closer.

Endrick to return on 30 September

Indeed, according to Marcos Benito on El Chiringuito TV, Endrick is expected to return to the team on 30 September, the day when Real Madrid take on Kairat Almaty in the Champions League.

Endrick has been out of action since late last season when he suffered a muscle injury against Sevilla. While he was close to returning to training during the FIFA Club World Cup in the summer, a relapse sidelined him further.

The youngster has been working with the rest of the group in training sessions in recent days. But unlike Camavinga and Bellingham, he was deemed not ready to return for tomorrow’s clash against Marseille.

As things stand, it appears that the Brazilian striker will also miss the subsequent La Liga games against RCD Espanyol and Atletico Madrid.

The idea, at the moment, is for Endrick to make his comeback for the game against Kairat in Kazakhstan at the end of the month.

It is an important season for the 19-year-old centre-forward, who will hope to earn as many minutes as possible under Xabi Alonso in the hope of making the cut for the Brazil squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
