According to a report from MARCA, Real Madrid are in no hurry to bring back Nico Paz and Chema Andres from Como and Stuttgart, respectively.
Despite their impressive performances abroad, the club believes that both players’ returns should happen only when the timing feels right for all parties involved, not because of media speculation or fan expectations.
Within the club, everyone is asking for patience. They feel that while every goal or standout display is noted, it does not automatically trigger a recall to the first team.
As things stand, both players have the door open for a potential return, but no final decision will be made until the end of the season.
The club maintains that their development must follow a natural path, without external pressure or rushed decisions.
At the moment, Real Madrid are closely monitoring their progress, and the same approach applies to Jacobo, another academy graduate currently shining at Como.

Real Madrid have built a structured system to ensure that players returning are ready both mentally and technically to compete at the highest level.
The club’s policy allows technical directors to activate a player’s return only when it benefits both the team and the player’s career growth. This avoids rushed transitions that could hinder long-term development.
This method is not new. A similar process was followed with Fran Garcoa, who returned to the first team only after gaining sufficient experience with Rayo Vallecano, playing more than 100 matches before earning his recall.
The stories of Nico at Como and Chema at Stuttgart echo the same philosophy. Both have adapted remarkably well, and the club appreciates their growth but insists on waiting until the right moment.
As a source at Valdebebas reportedly said, there is “no rush, none whatsoever.” Each performance contributes to their progress, but the ultimate decision will only come once both the player and the club agree that the timing is perfect.
