Recoleta name largely reserve squad for Santos trip in Sudamericana

Santos host a depleted Recoleta on Tuesday at Vila Belmiro in the second round of Group D of the Copa Sudamericana. Kick-off is at 21:30 Brasília time.

According to Globo.com, the visitors released a travelling list on Monday containing none of the starters from their opening 1-1 draw with San Lorenzo.

Compared with the weekend line-up against Sportivo Luqueño in the Paraguayan Championship, only three players have made the trip to Brazil.

Recoleta are prioritising the domestic league, where they have 19 points from 16 matches and sit eighth.

Santos could also rest some players. Centre-back Lucas Veríssimo and midfielder Gustavo Henrique, who went off with pain in Saturday's win over Atlético-MG, will be assessed in Monday's training.
