James played 45 minutes against Burnley.

The 25-year-old has been plagued by injury issues over the past few seasons, but is now enjoying his longest injury free period in quite some time.

Maresca confirmed James is ready to play three times a week if needed, and now the Chelsea skipper has posted an update on social media ahead of Tuesday’s game against Barcelona.

James took to Instagram and said:

“Different type of game today but a huge win! Another step in the right direction. Thanks to the traveling fans.

“P.S. I’m all good, Thanks for your concern, see you Tuesday!”

Malo Gusto in good form

James isn’t the only right back in good form this season, with Malo Gusto also looking like he’s back to somewhere near his best.
