According to L'Équipe, Rennes have opened talks with Franck Haise to succeed Habib Beye after the club ended their collaboration on Monday. The Brittany side are sixth in Ligue 1.
Haise, 54, knows the club well after working there as a coach from 2006 to 2012. He also knows president Arnaud Pouille and several players, including Brice Samba, from their time together at Lens.
Haise is one of several options and is available after leaving Nice in late 2025.
For now he is abroad, and the team is being handled on an interim basis by Sébastien Tambouret, Maxime Le Marchand and Pierre-Alexandre Lelièvre.
Rennes host PSG on Friday.
