Renzo Saravia arrives in Valencia ahead of medical and deal | OneFootball

According to Superdeporte, Renzo Saravia has arrived in Valencia as the club seek to finalise his signing following Dimitri Foulquier's injury.

The Argentine right-back reached Madrid from Argentina on a long-haul flight, then travelled by AVE to Valencia on Saturday 21 February.

Saravia, 32, is a free agent. He previously played for Belgrano and Racing, and most recently for Atlético Mineiro, with Valencia accelerating plans to bolster the right side.

The defender is due to undergo a medical on Monday, which will be more exhaustive than usual because he is unattached. Club doctors will assess his condition carefully before giving the final approval.

If he passes the tests and formalises his contract, he can link up with Carlos Corberán's squad. The coach would gain another option to shore up the defence at a crucial stage of the season.
