Renowned Sportitalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla has confirmed Inter Milan’s interest in Como teenage sensation Nico Paz.
According to the famous Italian journalist via FCInter1908, Simone Inzaghi’s side could make a bid for Paz next summer.
Paz has excelled at Como this season.
Forced to leave his boyhood club, Real Madrid, due to stiff competition for places, he chose Italy in the summer.
Indeed, he has teamed up with Cesc Fabregas’ side for a reported €6 million transfer fee.
Only a few months into his Serie A adventure, it feels like Como paid Los Blancos pennies on the dollar.
In addition to verifying Inter’s interest in the 20-year-old forward, Pedulla explains when the deal could happen.
Despite facing several clubs in a prospective transfer tug-of-war, Inter will not launch an assault in January.
Per Pedulla, they’ll most likely postpone it until the end of the season.
This way, they’d free up a slot for Paz by offloading Joaquin Correa.
Indeed, the Argentine is on his way out after the club refused to offer him a new contract.
His deal will expire in the summer and Inter could try to replace him with Paz.
