Cagliari are reportedly ready to equal an offer by Parma for Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito.
This according to Cagliari-based newspaper L’Unione Sarda, via FCInterNews.
The past few days have seen a real tug-of-war emerge regarding Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito.
It has always seemed clear that the Italy Under-21 international would leave Inter for good this summer.
Esposito has gone out on a string of loan moves. Last season he was on loan at Empoli.
But this summer, Inter are keen to sell Esposito outright once and for all.

A few clubs in Serie A have shown an interest in Esposito’s signature. Fiorentina have been sounding out a deal for the 23-year-old for a number of weeks.
However, two clubs have been pushing to sign Esposito in the last few days.
Cagliari have been in talks with Inter this week. They’re pushing to finally wrap up a deal for Esposito.
However, earlier this week Parma also began talks after Cagliari’s deal hit a couple snags.
In the past couple of days, the two clubs have engaged in a constant back-and-forth to try and finalize a deal to sign Esposito.
Cagliari have been offering a loan with a purchase option worth €6 million, reports L’Unione Sarda.
On the other hand, Parma have offered a permanent transfer. They would pay Inter a fee of €4 million, and also offer 50% of future resale to Inter.
The Nerazzurri have preferred Parma’s offer, as it would be a permanent sale.
However, reports L’Unione Sarda, Cagliari have decided to match that offer from Parma.
