Serie A giants Juventus are plotting a January move for Chelsea right back Malo Gusto according to reports in Italy.
Gusto joined Chelsea from French side Lyon in the summer of 2023, and has shown himself to be a capable alternative to Reece James.
The France international hasn’t had the best start to the season, and Gusto was stupidly sent off in the win against Nottingham Forest.
He missed Chelsea’s defeat to Sunderland through suspension, but could well return to the starting line-up for the Carabao Cup tie against Wolves on Wednesday.
Enzo Maresca is clearly a fan of the Frenchman, but other clubs seems to be taking notice, and Gusto was linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the summer.

However, Italian outlet Juve FC have reported Juventus are considering a winter swoop for Gusto if they can’t land Atletico Madrid’s Nahuel Molina.
The report adds Gusto is viewed as an alternative option to Molina, but there’s no mention of a potential fee or if Chelsea would be open to business.
The 22-year-old has made ten appearances in all competitions this season, and has registered two assists, and it’s likely he will have key role to play throughout the campaign.
Whilst the former Lyon man is linked with moves to other clubs, James is now back to his best, and it looks like his injury problems are behind.

James scored against Nottingham Forest on his 200th appearance for the club, and has remained fit since he returned from injury back in January.
The England international is going to be key for Chelsea’s chances of achieving what they are hoping to, but even he couldn’t help against Sunderland.
