Crystal Palace right back Daniel Munoz has attracted the attention of two Premier League clubs, once of which is Chelsea according to reports.

Munoz has established himself as a key player for Palace, and the 29-year-old is one of the first names on the team-sheet at Selhurst Park..

The right back is under contract until 2028 with The Eagles, but his performances are sure to have caught the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs.

Chelsea interested in Daniel Munoz

The Blues are well stocked at right back with both Reece James and Malo Gusto, but that hasn’t stopped them being linked with other names.

Chelsea were recently linked with Sporting Lisbon’s Ivan Fresneda, and now Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have reported they are amongst the clubs interested in Munoz.

The reports adds both Manchester City and Barcelona are also interested, whilst Munoz is thought to be valued at €30m.

Given the Ecuadorian’s age and how stocked Chelsea are at right back, any move for him would be strange, and given the current situation at the club seems very unlikely.

James is back playing at his best, and seems to have put his injury issues behind him, whilst Gusto is starting to show the form he showed in his first season at the club.

Malo Gusto to be rewarded for his form

Gusto scored the first goal of his senior career against Wolves on Saturday, and Maresca has claimed the France international is one of Chelsea’s most important players.

Chelsea are reportedly looking to reward Gusto with a new contract, and once again it appears he’ll be a key player this season.

In Gusto and James Chelsea have a brilliant pair of right backs, and both are going to be needed throughout another long campaign with the Blues battling on four fronts.
