Serie A top-four hopefuls Como are reportedly eager to keep Inter Milan target Nico Paz at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, there’s still a chance for the Argentine forward to stay at Como next season.
Cesc Fabregas’ side signed Nico Paz from Real Madrid in 2024 for a reported fee of €7 million.
However, aware of the 21-year-old’s potential, Los Blancos have retained a buy-back clause.
Therefore, they can bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer for as little as €10 million.
Meanwhile, Inter are keeping close tabs on the situation, hoping to make Paz their marquee summer signing.
Paz has enjoyed another superb season in Serie A, netting ten goals and adding six assists to help Como climb to fourth in the standings.
Indeed, the super-talented forward has been the cornerstone of the Lariani’s meteoric rise.
Therefore, Fabregas is genuinely desperate to keep his standout performer at the club for at least one more season.
On the other hand, Real Madrid could let Paz stay at the Sinigaglia next term as part of a strategic plan to foster his development.
