Report Inter director Ausilio rejects Al-Hilal offer | OneFootball

Tuttosport newspaper reports that Inter director Piero Ausilio has rejected a big-money offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal.

Inter sports director Ausilio has turned down the chance to reunite with former Nerazzurri boss Simone Inzaghi at Al-Hilal.

According to Tuttosport newspaper (via TMW), Ausilio has rejected the offer from the Saudi side, so he’ll continue his career at San Siro.

Football Italia exclusively reported in August that Ausilio had received an offer worth €5m plus add-ons.

According to the report, his new full salary would have been €10m per season, three times more than he currently earns with the Serie A giants.

Ausilio has been working at Inter for over 15 years, where he’s covered different roles, starting with Secretary of the Youth Sector.

Inter have earned six points in the opening four Serie A games of the season with two wins and two defeats.

They hired Cristian Chivu earlier this summer, replacing Inzaghi, who signed for Al-Hilal.
