Mendes has reportedly contacted Inter Milan sporting director, Piero Ausilio, to discuss Cancelo’s return to San Siro.

Indeed, the Portuguese star is no stranger to this environment, having spent the 2017/18 season on loan from Valencia.

However, Inter must be wary of Barcelona’s interest in Cancelo, whose massive wages could deter the Catalans from making a move.
