Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have reportedly set sights on Inter Milan transfer target Sam Beukema.
Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Spaniards have displayed interest in the Bologna center-back.
Sam Beukema has been indispensable for the Rossoblu since joining the club from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2023.
Despite paying the Dutch outfit only €10 million to sign the 26-year-old, Bologna could sell him for triple that amount.
Meanwhile, Serie A holders Inter have been hot on Beukema’s heels amid the club’s effort to inject fresh blood into their aging squad.
Beukema’s contract at Renato Dall’Ara runs out in 2027.
Furthermore, the player has never expressed any desire to leave Bologna.

That puts Vincenzo Italiano’s side in a comfortable position heading into the summer transfer window.
However, Inter could still test the water, especially as they prepare to bid farewell to at least one defender this summer.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri have yet to decide whether to keep hold of Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij.
Both players have entered the autumn of their careers and could depart Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the season.
Yet, Real Madrid sent scouts to observe Beukema in Bologna’s Champions League match against Lille.
Therefore, Los Blancos could throw a spanner in the works, with Atletico Madrid monitoring the situation from afar.
